Gentle Hands Moving is a full-service (pack and move) furniture-moving company. Centrally located by Ukiah, we primarily service Mendocino and Lake counties. Owner Al Lee has been a furniture mover for more than 44 years. He and his crew will reliably and safely deliver your belongings around the corner, to western states and beyond, including Hawaii. We will also go fetch clients moving here from long distances! Newbies often prefer to keep their moving expense in our local economy.

Our services

Gentle Hands can move a full household or one item. We can handle split loads, when your items need to be delivered to different locations.

We do full and partial pack jobs. For example, we can pack everything in your kitchen or just your best china and glassware. We have picture boxes and can safely pack framed wall art, mirrors and stained glass pieces.

With trucks 14 to 38 feet long, we tailor fit our equipment to the size of your load.

We also move pianos, safes and other heavy items.

Storage is available.

Al and his crew are practiced at patiently helping families and individuals through the challenge of downsizing into smaller quarters or moving into assisted living.

Businesses call us when moving into new offices, or when they need desks and equipment temporarily moved out of the way while remodeling.

Al can assist in arranging for cross-country and containerized moves.
